Trying to see why this place is home to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was it the racist people who kicked stray dogs on their way to the <br>temple, mosque or church?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was it the unclean roads, littered with betel spit, rubbish and<br>elderly parents tossed out of their homes?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was it the unjust system that freed criminals, arrested the innocent<br>and punished our children for their different ideologies?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Was it the selfish parents who quietly watched the youth be tear<br>gassed while they cuddled their children behind the safety of closed<br>doors?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the chaos I look.
